Angela Stalcup is the CEO–Curvy Empowerment Officer at “The Curvy Life,” www.curvylife.com , a blog that encourages women of all shapes and sizes to “Get Your Curve On!” Proudly curvaceous, voluptuously ambitious, and bodaciously bold, Angela uses the filter of her own experience as a “curvy girl” in the world to create new conversations about our definitions of beauty and attractiveness and challenges the unrealistic standards of the female body so prevalent in modern media. As a writer, speaker, and coach, she encourages women to stand in the full power of their bodies and to celebrate their curves, and lead “curvy fabulous” lives.
In her day job, Angela is a marketing and strategy professional with 20 years of experience in marketing communications, strategic planning, business process improvement, and business development for small businesses and large corporations.
Since 2008, she has also been the Atlanta Market Owner for Ladies Who Launch, an online and in-person support community for women entrepreneurs with education, resources, and exposure opportunities for women-owned businesses from concept, to launch and beyond. In this role she has worked with over 1000 different women to support them in launching and growing businesses.
Combining her two passions, entrepreneurship and body image, Angela also launched The Curvy Entrepreneur TM , a program designed to address body image issues that impact women in business, with a book of the same title launching in the fall of 2013.
